It is also the only place on Earth where tanzanite, one of the world’s rarest gemstones, is found, in the hills of Mererani near Arusha.
But above all, Tanzania is a country of generous people who welcome you with genuine warmth and make you feel at home wherever you go. It is a land where stories, legends and oral traditions continue to shape everyday life, making every journey about much more than the places you visit.
