Bulgaria is another Balkan country whose stories have travelled through generations, keeping its legends, traditions and folklore alive to this day.
From the mystical Rhodope Mountains and ancient Thracian heritage to colourful monasteries and the Black Sea coast, Bulgaria is a country where history and mythology are woven into everyday life.
It is home to one of Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, produces some of world’s finest rose oil in the Valley of Roses, and preserves centuries-old customs that are still celebrated today.
I haven’t explored Bulgaria yet, but its stories have already found their way to Navadala Stories. I hope to experience them in person one day. Until then, let’s discover them together.
